Today you can read about some great new capabilities we just recently launched on SalesVu. These include new features and reports for Appointment-based as well as for Food & Drink businesses. SalesVu 3.7 for iPad is now available in the App Store. You can download it here or by opening the App Store on your iPad and touching ‘Updates’
We have added several new features. You can see them in the video here and read about them below.
1. We have added new payment device ‘role’ called TownVu Kiosk. When you put your iPad into this role it allows you to turn your iPad into a customer facing display so that once you setup customers can order directly from the iPad without the need for a server/order taker.
2. We have added Zapper’s QR code payment technology to the iPad’s screen. So your customers can scan a check that was brought to their table or scan the screen (which will work for other types of businesses where the check is not brought to the table).
3. We have added integrated credit card processing in several countries (The United Kingdom, Mexico France, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Spain, Sweden and The Netherlands) through a partnership with iZettle. You can sign up for iZettle by clicking here.
4. We have changed the cross device sync flow to add a ‘Save/Fire’ button. This button will allow you to save the order, print any new products to the kitchen/bar printer and it will open a new order. The sync speed and reliability have also been enhanced. It will only show ‘Fire’ when you have a kitchen/bar printer setup.
5. In the button view for products you can now add badges to show products that have time-based discounts.
6. New modifier screen! You can turn this on by logging into SalesVu.com, then clicking, ‘Features->Settings->Modifier Management->Modifier Popup Setting.
7. You can now create your own custom attributes/shipping statuses for orders that can be used in the POS or in Kiosk mode.
8. You can now change the name of an order by touching the order ID. Once you touch a popup will appear allowing you to enter the name.
9. You can now add multiple barcodes for each product (up to 5). We have also greatly improved the functionality and reliability of the Socket Mobile series of scanners.
10. The SalesVu app will now give you a popup when there is a new update available within the app.
