Improvement to our Labor Report

We’ve been asked for this improvement a lot: When a salaried employee works for multiple locations, the salary / bonus will evenly split across all locations.

Note: The ‘Labor’ report is part of the ‘Employee Scheduling and Human Capital management’ feature. It helps you keep track of the cost of an employee and make sure it remains reasonable in relation to the level of sales.

 

 

What’s new about Employee Management features?

Have you ever heard about the Employee Management features and how they can help you manage your business?

Employee Schedules are available to everyone when and where they are needed

  • Schedules are self-maintaining (once schedules are done, they get updated automatically when specific shift trade and time off requests are approved)
  • Schedules are synched automatically with the calendar on your employees’ phone whether they use Apple, Android, or Windows phones, so they can always see it in their calendar app and know exactly when they’re supposed to work.

Discrepancy report shows you if your employees are consistently late for work or too early

  • You automatically get your employees attendance discrepancy report showing when employees are clocking-in and clocking-out early or late

Ensure that your labor cost stays below your acceptable limit:

  • SalesVu automatically computes labor to sales ratio (this ratio in the labor report allows you to ensure that your labor cost stays below 30% of your sales or lower)

 

We have also made the following improvements:
•The week’s start day can be changed for each employee
• Employee tips (paid from credit cards) have been added to several reports: Close out report, labor report, and hourly employee report. However this information is not taken into account when calculating labor cost / sales ratio because it’s not paid by the business.
• Employees with fixed salary will also show up on labor report even if they do not use clock in/out feature

• An employee directory has been created to give a quick access to all employee e-mails and phone numbers.
• Each employee can now be assigned to multiple managers.
• Managers can now use the performance review feature for the employees that they manage (performance reviews can only be viewed by managers for employees they are assigned to manage
