Dear SalesVu users,
We’ve been receiving an increasing number of requests for self-service and mobile/online ordering options from our customers being impacted by Coronavirus restrictions on the Food & Drink industry, so I wanted to take a moment to reach out and share some of our solutions that might be helpful for you at this time.
We recently released a new version of our self-order kiosk app, “OrderUp by SalesVu”, which can be used by curb-side (or unattended counter) customers placing orders from a safe distance. The app is designed for self-service and all our customers who have used it have seen an increase in average-ticket size, thanks the appealing interface and up-sell recommendations. And of course, we would highly recommend putting a set of alcohol wipes next to the kiosk station for customers to sanitize the iPad before and after each use. See more info about about OrderUp here: https://www.salesvu.com/apps/orderup-by-salesvu.php
For even safer social distancing, our ecommerce solution (browser-based as well as iPhone/Android branded apps) comes at no additional cost to what you’re already paying for the SalesVu service, and our team is available to help you set that up quickly and give your customers an easy way to order from their laptops/smartphones as you shift your business to pick-up and/or delivery.
Our customer support, onboarding, and graphic design teams are at your disposal to create visually attractive menus (for the kiosk or for website landing pages), to help configure your online store settings (including pickup/delivery times, loyalty program, electronic gift card sales, and more), and to submit your company’s branded app to the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play store.
Please email us at [email protected] if you are interested in implementing anything related to self-ordering or ecommerce.
Some additional features of our ecommerce platform include: automated buy one get one free discounts (or buy x and get any y at z% off), email marketing with discount codes, ability to accept tips, configurable delays for prep-time and pickup windows, delivery fees (flat amount, by order amount, by weight), supported delivery zip codes and schedule, UPS label integration for shipping, maximum number of certain specific products per order, abandoned cart reminder emails, inventory sync between physical and online store (hide out-of-stock items), text message updates to consumers when items are ready for pickup/delivery, and more.
We also recently launched a nine different A.I. algorithms that are designed to make your ecommerce website/app more like Amazon in terms of dynamic sales-increasing recommendations. You can see more details about those recommendations on the ecommerce section of the following page: https://www.salesvu.com/ai-recommendation.php
Lastly, our software team is also in the process of developing a more gamified version of our loyalty program (several loyalty levels as airlines have been doing with settings to offer more rewards at each level), as well as a way to trigger additional discount once a certain number of consumers commit to purchase your electronic gift card / voucher (similar to groupon but without taking the exorbitant fee).
We hope that all of the above will help your business during this time of crisis, and please don’t hesitate to reply with any additional software ideas that would help your business and I’ll forward them to our software development team right away.
