SalesVu’s iPad POS System allows Treasure Coast Seltzer Works to operate entirely on delivery trucks!

Treasure Coast Seltzer Works (TCSW) is one of only four bottling companies in the country who specialize in old-bottled seltzer. TCSW delivers their quality product directly to their customers’ door, and then collects the empty bottles that have been left out for them. This milk-man style delivery process requires a mobile POS system that can operate on a delivery truck, for which TCSW has chosen SalesVu.

We caught up with TCSW owner Ryan Pinnell as he was on the way back from a delivery route. When asked about TCSW’s experience with SalesVu, Pinnell opened right up with “We literally could not operate our business without it, hands down!”

TCSW chose SalesVu because of the ability to modify the software to work the way they needed it to. Pinnell says that running SalesVu-generated reports has saved him 85 hours per month in billing labor.

“The recency report saves me thousands of dollars just in the reporting suite,” he says, “It comes down to this: you need something for the backbone of your business. [SalesVu] is literally priceless to me now.”

Before switching to SalesVu, TCSW was using Square but found themselves greatly frustrated by technical support and lack of necessary business management tools. “You can’t talk to anyone at Square,” tells Pinnell. “[SalesVu’s] technical support team is amazing!”

Pinnell has been so pleased with the capabilities of his iPad POS, he has integrated more of SalesVu’s business management features like our easy accounting software and our ecommerce website for online sales.

“Everything is fluid. Very simple. Not a hard program to use,” he explains, “SalesVu gives you just enough of what you need without all the junk. Out of the box you have a web platform and the ecommerce website has a simple setup!”

When asked what he liked most about SalesVu, Pinnell says he enjoys the fact that he can run his whole company through SalesVu’s iPad POS. “I can pick any iPad, go anywhere in the world and see everything that’s going on in the business” he says.

“We are a visionary company and [SalesVu] has molded our business to be 100% mobile!” says Pinnell.

SalesVu iPad POS System with multi-location management & easy accounting software helps raise revenue at Trinity River Vision Authority by almost fifty percent!

Trinity River Vision Authority (TRVA) is a government entity in Fort Worth, Texas whose main objective is improving the quality of life in Fort Worth by connecting every neighborhood in the area to the Trinity River. Not only would this redirection project provide much-needed flood protection, it would also add new recreational amenities, improve infrastructure and provide environmental enhancements. The Trinity River vision is to create a vibrant, pedestrian oriented urban waterfront neighborhood adjacent to Downtown Fort Worth.

As part of their efforts to bring attention to the Trinity River, TRVA holds a free summer concert series called “Rockin’ The River”. In this event, attendees can enjoy a plethora of river-related activities that include tubing, paddle boarding, kayaking, pedal boating and more! This is a popular event whether you’re river junky or a “land lobber” who would prefer to enjoy the show from the shaded tables at the Coors Riverfront Ice House. With live music, good food and a nightly firework show, TRVA puts on one of the best summer gatherings in Fort Worth!

When they began holding events, TRVA quickly realized they would need the ability to securely accept payments on the river. When considering mobile point-of-sale solutions, they were drawn to the simplicity of SalesVu’s iPad POS interface, the low credit card processing fees and the ability to manage multiple devices in multiple locations. About other POS systems, Megan Cowan, Special Project Coordinator says they cost almost double what SalesVu does. “They have minimum monthly fees, and fees for each transaction.  Not to mention they won’t let us set up more than one bank account without more fees.”

Cowan also speaks highly of the SalesVu easy accounting software.

“[Our accounting department] loves that we’re able to set up a store for each bank account and use that store to sell only relevant items!” she says, “It saves them so much time on the back end.”

SalesVu’s accounting capabilities, low credit card processing rates and multi-location management has helped TRVA expand so they can now hold more events than ever. You can join TRVA’s efforts by tubing the Trinity River on “Sunday fun day”, or celebrating Independence Day with them at “Fort Worth’s Fourth.” At any of these events, you’ll find TRVA’s friendly staff proudly using SalesVu’s iPad POS. TRVA currently has nine iPads running SalesVu software; 8 of which are used right on the river, and the 9th which they use at conferences.

 “[SalesVu’s iPad POS] has allowed us to accept credit cards at our events, which accounts for almost half of sales every week!” raves Cowan, “We would not have the amount of revenue we earn without SalesVu allowing us to take credit cards in the field.”

SalesVuiPad POS System brings restaurant POS to the cloud at Cloud Cafe

Cloud Café (CC) is a tech-oriented espresso and teahouse that caters to the technology subculture in Katy, Texas. This establishment serves everything from bubble tea to coffee, to Italian soda and much more!

“We’re a hidden gem in our area,” said Denae Dehoyos, General Manager at CC.  “We are well known for our espresso based coffee drinks, as well as latte art, and the science behind making amazing coffee!”

CC sought a mobile restaurant POS system for versatility when dealing with different kinds of transactions. Whether they’re in the shop or out at an event, they wanted a system that could effectively and quickly take care of their most important priorities: great customers and great drinks.

Cloud Café has been a customer of SalesVu since their opening. They love the iPad POS system because it allows the use of up-to-date technology which most of their employees already have.

“As we are an all tech-savvy staff at the cafe, we enjoy having up to date technology at our fingertips – literally! It’s so much easier to just have a tablet or iPad (most of us here already own at least one) that we can pop a card reader on and handle our business,” said Dehoyos.

In addition, the reports feature has helped CC organize all of their purchase data by category. They enjoy being able to compare sale statistics in the form of graphs or charts in order to make the best financial choices for the company. The ease of reporting has saved CC “tons of man hours” that would be spent collecting data and entering numbers. Now they can put their minds to work on better, more innovative ideas for the company.

“It just makes so much more sense to save the man hours involved in numbers and marketing,” said Dehoyos. “[With SalesVu], reports are done how I want, in less time and without having to pay someone to do it for me.”

Cloud Café considered Square, as well as a “big, ancient and clunky POS machine that would cost a ton of money”, but decided to go with SalesVu for their business management needs instead.

“We already have phones and tablets handy. Why spend the money on old technology?” said Dehoyos, “We saved tons of money not having to hire an accountant for the company alone. SalesVu makes it easy to let anyone manage the finances.”

Using SalesVu, CC is able to give certain employees different permissions for managing POS transactions. Each month, CC holds a contest among its employees for who has the highest average ticket price for a prize.

“This is a fun and easy way to boost our own sales and we can check their progress easily and without confusion,” said Dehoyos. “It also encourages our employees to perform better on the job.”

SalesVu iPad POS System Helps Shades of Sugar Make Sweet Improvements

Shades of Sugar (SS) is a small bakery that provides custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cake balls and many other confections to the Richardson, Texas area.

Autumn Surface, SS owner, found herself in need of a mobile restaurant POS system because she wanted to be able to sit down with a customer to discuss cake ideas, and then ring up the sale at the same table. The shop’s previous owner had a massive traditional POS system that took up their entire counter. When Surface took over the shop, she was on a tight budget and didn’t want to pay “thousands” to maintain the current system or purchase a new mobile solution.

After struggling to keep up with employee hours, sales trends, expenses and invoices, Surface researched systems like Revel and ShopKeep and eventually decided to use SalesVu.

Shades of Sugar has been able to appropriate the Restaurant POS system to track sales in the front of the bakery as well as oversee employee hours and inventory in the back. Viewing reports helps SS see sales trends and make data-driven decisions about which cakes to sell and which to discontinue.

“I like that at any given time I can pull a report and see exactly what is happening financially at the bakery,” said Surface. “I can input my recipes and it will keep track of my inventory and my employees clock-in using SalesVu. It truly does everything! SalesVu has combined all of those [features] into one easy application and made my time mine again, so that I can do what I enjoy doing, BAKING.”

Lastly, moving to an mPOS system has helped Shades of Sugar seamlessly deliver products by allowing them to finalize a sale when it reaches it’s destination. The adoption of SalesVu has made business management at SS easier than ever.

“I like everything about SalesVu,” said Surface. “I am so glad that it keeps up with the front and back end of the bakery. I am busy all the with baking, so I like that SalesVu will keep up with all the stuff I don’t have time to keep up with.”

All Zen Boutique Considers SalesVu iPad POS System “a Blessing” for Inventory Tracking, Quickbooks and much more

All Zen Boutique (AZB) is a wellness products boutique that focuses on bringing the comfort and luxury of the spa to you online or at a private venue. AZB is an extension of Owner Nicole Batiste’s holistic health coach practice.

Batiste heard about SalesVu when she was looking for a way to maintain her inventory. She also looked into QuickBooks and Microsoft but both were thousands of dollars.

“I considered them too expensive for a small business like mine,” said Batiste.

Batiste has also used PayPal and Intuit GoPayment.

“I chose SalesVu because it offered the whole POS system, it was more cost effective and you can start small and grow so the scalability of the system is perfect,” said Batiste. “I love that it has a small barcode reader that works with the system and most importantly, it’s portable!”

AZB needs an iPad POS because it involves private venues, events and online sales.

“I do not have a storefront just yet so SalesVu has been a blessing,” said Batiste.

When asked what her favorite feature is, she said “the whole system!”

“I love that I can sync with my QuickBooks online account, the fact that I can maintain my inventory, generate orders and look more professional with my barcode scanner as I’m ringing up client purchases,” said Batiste. “There’s so much I can do with this system.”
