Pepper’s Place (PP) is a 1950’s style American drive-up diner in Nevada. Served to truckers, RVs and travelers on Highways 95, its ingredients are served fresh to keep customers’ health a priority.
“Our fresh steak burger is never frozen,” said PP Owner Tro Murphey. “Our bread is made fresh every week. Our vegetables and ingredients have your health in mind.”
PP needed a mobile POS system to operate its food trailer that travels to events during the year.
“During the winter, we leave the trailer and go to the shops in town and take orders using SalesVu on the iPad,” said Murphey. “The cook sees the orders on his iPad in the trailer and finishes the orders. We also walk out to the customers in their cars and take orders.”
When researching low cost restaurant POS systems, Murphey also considered Square, Intuit, PayPal and Quickbooks before deciding on SalesVu’s iPad POS. Murphey liked what other SalesVu restaurants said about their customer experience.
“[We chose SalesVu] for several reasons: low cost of entry and monthly costs, apps for the iPhone, iPad and Android, cloud-based with feature-rich backend, mobile point of sale solution, credit card processing and marketing capabilities to Facebook and Townvu,” said Murphey.
Pepper’s Place enjoys the integration of Facebook coupons that can be published on their business’ page and redeemed by followers.
“It’s a great reward system for our followers,” said Murphey.
